The Larry Mitchelson Fine Arts Scholarship selection committee is proud to announce Miss Desirae Collins as our current 2010-2011 Academic Year Winner! Miss Collins will be attending Oswego State University in the fall.

Desirae Collins loves creating a variety of art including photography and painting. Over the years she has developed her own style of art incorporating collaged images into her compositions. Desirae will be attending State University of New York at Oswego in Fall 2011 to pursue an art education certification as well as a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. In addition, Desirae wants to earn a dual degree in Art Therapy. In addition to her love for art, Desirae has been an excellent overall student, President of several Clubs in high school and also managed to work a part-time job. Desirae is the daughter of Rhonda Abraham.
